Andile Ramaphosa is founder and managing director of Blue Crane Capital (Pty) Ltd, a smart ICT business with a focus on advisory, project development and fund development.
Andile’s experience includes five years in cross-border M&A advisory and business development (coverage) in China. He has advised China Guangdong Nuclear, China State Grid, China Development Bank, China Africa Development Fund and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China across metals & mining, construction and industrial services, and the energy sector.
Andile was Head of the Africa Strategy Development Executive team at Macquarie First South Securities. Prior to that, he worked for Standard Bank (China) as part of the team that initiated the ICBC strategic co-cooperation.
Andile holds a B.Bus.Sc (Finance) from the University of Cape Town, a Master’s in Economics, Fudan University (Shanghai, China) and a Master’s in Global Finance from New York University Stern Business School and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
In 2019, Andile Ramaphosa represented Africa at the Global Top 500 Unicorn Companies Awards in China and has since then developed multiple cross-border opportunities between Africa and China.
Andile founded SDI with Brad Fisher and serves on its Board.
